As I already told in the preview post, I love Buke and Gass’ music and that’s exactly why I made the trip to Amsterdam to see their gig during the ‘late night slot’ (the Arctic Monkeys played the ‘prime time slot’ earlier that evening on the main stage) on the small upstairs stage of the Paradiso.
Believe me that it was well worth the trip and getting home late! And great to see that Arone and Aron probably enjoyed the gig as much as the audience. They even did two encores and might have done a third if they hadn’t run out of songs to play…
Arone is funny and really authentic on stage. Here she did some facial gymnastics after (sort of) screwing up the end a of song…
